Blogtober Day Three – My Everyday Essentials

Day three of Blogtober is here and it requires me to tell you about my everyday essentials. If you’ve not already then check out my last post, My Favourite Quote.

When I first read the topic of today’s post I thought mainly of makeup and skincare products. But, after thinking a little longer there are so many things I couldn’t go without in day to day life. So here is my, slightly different, everyday essentials list.

Green Tea

A Cup Of Clipper Pure Green Tea

I like to start every day with a cup of Clipper’s Pure Green Tea. I love the taste of green tea and I find it a refreshing way to wake myself up in the mornings. I find that Clipper’s tea really does have the purest taste – plus it’s fairtrade and the bags are unbleached!

Tangle Teezer

Tangle Teezer

Even when I’m hungover, poorly or having a lazy day I always remember to brush my hair. When the makeup is off and I’m lazing around the house I cannot stand to have messy, tangled hair. So my amazing Tangle Teezer simply had to be on the list. It’s an easy size and shape to hold, fits easily into my handbag and is gentle on my hair. You can even use it on wet hair for gentle but fast detangling.

My Notebook

If you know me in real life then you will know I am constantly forgetting everything. To combat this I like to carry a notebook with me absolutely everywhere. It was only a cheap little one from Tesco but it really helps me to remember important details such as dates, times and numbers. I highly recommend getting one if you need a little more organisation in your life! Sorry but I can’t show you it as it has important notes inside!

NYX Spray

NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray

It might not quite be classed as an everyday essential as I don’t use it on days where I’m not wearing makeup. But, when I am wearing makeup it’s an absolute must. This fixing spray is cheap and cheerful. Under a fiver I believe. Simply spritz your face when you’re done with your makeup application to fix everything in place and reverse the effects of over caking the powder!

Moisturiser

Clinique Even Better Moisturizer

Another important everyday essential for me is my simple but brilliant Clinique moisturiser. Hypoallergenic, fragrance free and perfect for combination skin types it gives my skin that extra bit of hydration to make applying my makeup a breeze and give me a healthy glow. I use it everyday to boost my skin’s condition and radiance, even when I’m going bare faced.

Yogi Cuddles

No matter how bad my day has been, or how stressful I know it is going to be when I get up, I can always count on snuggles from my little fluff monster to cheer me up. He is such a huge part of my life, from the moment I get up to the moment I go to sleep, and although he can be puppyish and naughty at times I simply couldn’t be without him. He’s always so happy to see you, and he loves to give you a huge cheeky smile when you’re down. Unfortunately you can’t enjoy his cuddles yourself, but I recommend checking his cute pictures out on our Instagram if you’re feeling a bit down in the dumps!

Our Family

Late Night Chats With Liam

This is another one of my everyday essentials that I’m afraid I cannot share with you. But if you’re in a good relationship right now I’m sure that you can relate. Nothing beats falling into bed at night and having a good chat with your partner. We are often too silly and giggly to talk about anything serious – but it always relaxes me to chat about our day, funny things that have happened and share our little inside jokes.

So there you have my everyday essentials. I hope you enjoyed this list and maybe spotted a couple of products that you’d like to try! Remember to start everyday with your own little pep talk, think about your achievements so far and create goals for the day ahead. That way you can start your day in a good frame of mind.

  1. Awww I loved the bit about late night chats. I miss those sharing our room (we have a one bed flat) with a 17month old means no late night chats for us! X
